I am looking for the size of socket I need to that goes inside the fork tube to take the damper rod out. From looking down the tube it looks like a hex head is needed, but I'm not sure what size to get. The sets I looked at are of smaller sizes than what it looks like is needed for this.
I'm still trying to finish up on my cb450 cafe project, but after reading through Troy's bobber build thread I had to have something like that as well. So the search began and I found a nice '75 CB360 about 10 miles away and got it for $450. The kid that owned it had just spent $300 bucks he...
I am looking to do a 21" rim on the front of the cb360 I plan to build. I have a cl front end that I will be swapping over to get the drum brakes instead of the disc. My question is can I just get a 21" rim from an XL350 and will that work with the CL360 front end? If it is just the wheel...
I got my cl350 running the other day. Just had to put gas in it and kick it over. Everything seemed to be running smoothly so I take it out for a short ride around a couple blocks. When I pull the clutch in to stop the bike just keeps revving up around 5-6k. I can see that the throttle isn't...
I saw the gauge replacement bulbs in the $50 mod thread and so I decided to take another look at my gauges and realized the bike didn't come with the light for the speedometer in it. ::) Some other models may work for it as well. I assume its a bulb with a couple wires coming out of it and...
I just bought a '71 CL350 and I would like to change out the front forks for the sealed type on the later models. Is it as simple as getting a whole setup from a later model CL or CB and swap them out? I'd like to keep the front drum brake though so are the CB forks different then? I think...

I put in an offer of $12.00 and was counter offered $13.50. So I purchased it for that price. I just received it, it only took about five minutes to replace the old sealed bulb with the new one.

They are the same as the ones I got. Haven't received...
Not a bad deal for some progressive shocks for a CB750. I would have bought them for my 450 but I don't want the extra length.

Well its looks like i've found the cl450 exhaust I was looking for but it looks like it is missing the shields. Anyone have some they aren't using anymore?
Thanks, Corey
Hey looking for a little help. When I turn the key on the tail light turns on for a second and then goes off. Nothing else seems to work such as any gauge lights coming on or the start button does nothing. This is my first attemp at building a motorcycle and not really sure what to check to...
I'm looking for a little help on how to free up my disc brake on my '71 CB450. I just started working on the bike and it would sure be a lot easier moving it around with the front wheel rolling. lol
Hey just picked this up today and can't wait to get started on it. It has been sitting for awhile so first order of business will be getting it running, then move onto cleaning it up. I drove 4 hours each way to get it. It has 12k miles, and overall is in pretty good condition. I picked it...
Hey everyone I'm new here and looking to build a cafe racer. I'm looking for a little insight on pros and cons to getting a 75 cb360t with 9800 miles in decent shape, runs good they said but the electric start doesn't work. The other bike I'm looking at is a 71 cb450. with 12000 miles on it...
