    xs650 fork disassambly

Trying to dismantle my forks to poish the bottom and replace the tubes. I can't get the tubes out. I have the oil drained, and the springs out. The hex bolt on the bottom just keep turning and turning and I don't see a circlip on the top to take off... Any suggestions?

    RD 350 front end advice

I have no clue about the brakes- I have to do a little more research to figure it out. My buddy who raced it rebuilt the bike a few times but he wasn't the main man behind what went where... I do have braided lines already I scavenged from another of my buddys bikes. I don't have any pics up...

    RD 350 front end advice

So far I have never even ridden an RD. My buddy raced this one way back and he said the single disc didn't give it much stopping power at all. I do have the dual disc set up. The calipers i'm sure will need to be rebuilt but I have everything I need there... I still have to figure out what it is...

It's just in terrible shape. It definately needs new tubes and I think I only have one of the calipers- rust- kinda tyring to be lazy here. And I am not even 100 percent sure what it is from... I am replacing the steering bearings because they are not quite smooth anymore- kinda feels bumpy when...

    RD350 tank

I picked a 75 RD 350 from a buddy of mine who used to race it- pretty much gave it to me. Frame and motor look showroom- problem is that's about all I got. I am looking for a tank for it- I like the RD400 tanks (not the daytona specials) but i want something stretched... I really want to have to...

    Cut frame question- opinions please...

Appreciate the help. I am also looking into the removable section to fit in there. I am going to go to a shop today and talk with them and see what their take is on the subject and how much this is going to set me back. Can't wait to get into the motor and see that that the cam chain is actually...

    Cut frame question- opinions please...

How do reccommend it be fixed? I assume have it welded so it is back to the original? The only problem I see with that is that I personally think that the welds will be the weak link... Man I wish I checked it out better before I bought it. Thanks.

    Cut frame question- opinions please...

I finally got my hands on an old 73 cb750. Got it pretty cheap so I jumped at it. I started to tear it down today and thought something looked funny. I took of the tank and noticed the two spars underneath the main tube(underneath the tank) were chopped back to the beginning of the seat mount...

    1978 CB400Tii

Started again on the foam. It's not done- need to finish sanding and put the to pieces together and there is getting it ready to make the final plug but opinions?

    1978 CB400Tii

Well that approach didn't work. The mud broke everywhere as soon as I lifted it off. Looks like I'll be going back to the florist foam, a couple coat of acrylic paint, some epoxy paint and then some bondo- for the plug.
