That's a good way to see the oil leak;it's also thorough quality control that you used on that bike to completely seal all those casting flaws.I appreciate the tip.
 
Thanks, Bill! Looks amazing. I'm not too familiar with the painting process but luckily my engine is in very good shape. I'm thinking I'll stick to cleaning and buffing the different parts. Now for a soda blaster...anyone know if places rent those out? No buffing wheel here either

Just bought the exact same model, same blue and all. What is the over all width of the handlebars now? Ie if you measured straight from tip to tip, what is the width? They look perfect on this bike.
 
Spurlock, Your bike looks great. I have also have one that is very similar. Question for you: I'm having some trouble finding parts for the bike to do some repairs. Do you have any advice?
In particular, I'm trying to locate a front brake cable, but not sure what the part number is. I'd appreciate some help.
