1984 Honda XR80 SLO Burn Hellride

https://vimeo.com/190882443 bike act so strange, ideals good but rev the throttle and it lags then gos super crazy high rpm's. Then when I put it in gear and go, it delays and bogs, and only worse as it slows down, have to give it a lot of gas if I'm a high gear but just drives poorly overall. I'm suspecting a timing issues, as I swapped all the top end to a different bottom end, and I'm a nube to timing and tuning. Also a note that I change the original carburator for a $20 eBay one that has a pod filter. I'm kind of still leaning towards the timing, just need to grab it by the horns.

Hahaha. A pile of Z50 and a pile of CB750. This will go to Mid-O as a running bike. Guaranteed.

Hell yeah, that's what I was hoping. I've been holding off because I need to send the jug to Mototech. It's not in the best shape.

Wow, very sizeable! You could hire out as a poor-man's hearse with that thing. Nice.
 
It’s also sitting on a stack of boards. This is just to illustrate intention. No cutting or welding has happened yet.

Seats for these are weirdly hard to get and expensive, when available. In the meantime, I’ll fiddle with a custom seat. Oh, and fat people shocks. 13” Koni shocks to add lift and stiff.

That thing has a pretty cool stance to it already.. Can't wait to see what you do with it... Oh, and whatever you take to make you so productive on like 133 projects at one time... I wan't some haha.
