Bearing boring?

So here is the deal i have a 20mm front axle bolt. The wheel i am planning on putting on it has a slightly smaller bearing on it. We are talking like .006". if i was to bore that out using a dremel or something similar would that work and be okay? Any help would be great.


The set up is a 93 GSXR 750 front end and the wheel is a harley narrow glide.

Just get the right bearings for your axle, do it right and safe the first time. You have to keep in mind that this wheel is responsible for keeping you upright and rolling, while it may work, I wouldnt personally put my physical health in the hands of a jury rigged set of bearings!

As long as you know you sizes; width, OD, ID. It's not that hard to find the right bearing number and not be sloppy.
