I love spending time with older people. If you look hard enough there is always something to learn from them. I"ve come to the conclusion that it takes a lot of years to be wise. Not sure if I personally will ever get there. Thought it would be cool if we could pool together and share some wisdom.
My contribution for the day is:
1) when handling Habanero peppers stop off at a sink and wash the hands throughly before going to the bathroom.
2) I just read the next two on line: A person who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; a person who never asks is a fool forever.
3)An iceberg is a good analogy of our character and personality. The tip of the iceberg is what is seen first by other people; our personality. The part that lies underneath the water is our character, which lays unseen and hidden. Our personality is our image, techniques and skills that influence our outward success, but our true success will come from the goodness of our character that lies beneath the surface.
anyone care to share more wisdom?
