Ground Resistance

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

Matty, I'll hook you up in a heart beat. PM me with what you want, and I'll churn it out. After I finish up a couple of things I'm taking another run at the sugar shull too!

I'm having so much fun, and love the fact you guys are into it too.

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

Crescent, I haven't checked in for a couple days. But those are some crazy skills you've got there.

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

Thanks Rich. It really isn't that hard. The main thing seems to be angle and pressure control. The rest requires little more than the ability to sketch. It is much harder to make the tools than it is to do the coins.

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

Hey Justin, I got something for you.

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

My first piece without blacking. I polished a piece of round rod and burnished the surface to polish it without messing up the background texture. It was really hard to photo. IMO it looks better in person.

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

That quarter looks bad ass! Can't wait to get a set...

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

Dude, that was the post that got itching with the engraving bug. I spent weeks after that researching the coinsn and the tools used to make them. It is all your fault!

Re: Ground Resistance: Engine In

Well I screwed that up. Don't know if anyone caught the accidental post (I removed it) but it was supposed to be a pm to Swagger and not a post on this thread. Sorry bout that folks :-[ .

Keep up the Killer work Cresent. You know it must be damn good because that drew out a record number of words on a post from Justin :D

Ha!

When it comes to the forum, I generally live by the words of the great Lefty Enright, "talk plain, it saves time."
