Perfume hardly begins to cover it.

But this will be an Enfield in exterior appearances only...pretty much all major operational parts have been replaced or extensively re-worked. Ace does a great job with these engines.

535...biggest you can go on the stock Enfield barrel without increasing stroke. Custom-flowed head with modern valve train, alloy barrel, thermal barrier coatings, Ace's custom piston, carillo rod/alpha bearings, hi-flow oil mods (using modern stainless hose, too), ceramic bearings in both the wheels and 5spd transmission, big Mikuni flatslide, etc. etc.

Crank's stock, but rebuilt by Ace to appropriate standards of quality.

Gotta wring the India out of these things.

Mine's gonna nose up towards 40hp. Losing a bit from the use of 91 instead of 93 octane due to local availability, but I'll change compression when I get back to the States. They have a new rocker set coming out when they can get production started, so I'll add those if they're available at that time, too. Might break 40 or so.

Ace has a brand new 50+hp head mod for racing, but given the conditions I'll ride in, the high-RPM performance is less important than the low, and this package is a proven-reliable quantity. Africa doesn't have a lot of places for me to ride fast, and I'd rather not be a test bed for the newest/latest/greatest stuff on the ragged edge of the limits of these little things.

Any of you see these before?

Auxiliary gas tanks for my GL1000, which replace the sidecovers.

Finally got the oil needed. Slowly but surely getting to a point to fire this thing for the first time. Good things come to those who wait. Waiting on a reply for the trans oil and it's down hill from there.
