JT sprockets have nice drawings that include the measurements of the output shaft.
See what other bikes use the same output shaft and see if that turns up an offset sprocket, as some bikes have a little offset stock.


Other places are Z1 enterprises which have offset sprockets for the older kaws (if your shaft is the same that would be a turn key solution)

Thanks for the info Bozz! I believe the 636 Kawi's have an offset sprocket by 10mm or so, which is about how much I need. I'm just not sure if the output shaft is the same on that bike and mine.

A little update w/o pics, I got my new tank in today, not as nice in condition as the tank that came with the bike, but it'll have to do. I'm going to reseal it, then start the clay work. Just been really held up by lack of parts and fitting the swinger. I ordered a 636 shock linkage to fit on the bike, just waiting for that to come in and pick up some cobalt drill bits and I'll be going to town on that sucker!

Update!

Here's the tank ready for a clay job

Here's the result after 2 hours of being a kid again and getting my hands dirty

I built up the clay on this side a bit so it evens out. No pics of that but here's the tank with the shortened seat. Just have to staple that sucker back together.

Taped that hole motha' up in prep for a glass job. Had to glass it quick a couple days later shorty after the clay was somewhat dry because it wanted to peel off the tank lol.

Done. Gonna pop it off and trim it this week.

Side covers for that ugly ass indent on the front sides will be done. Ordered a bi-xenon projector for the front. Gotta finish this beast!

Quick mock up:

Chain run. That'll do, pig. That'll do.

Decided to run the stock shock, so I pretty much wasted $80 on two shocks and linkage that I won't use. Welp, time to put em up for sale! Or eventually I'll use the 636 shock. There is a few millimeters of clearance between the swinger and shock sans load, so es bueno.

Finished up fitting in the swinger by making bushings and spacers out of poly. Any who, I'll be cleaning up the rear end, getting the swinger ready for paint and starting on my side covers for the tank.

I also got my projector light in from China. The dude mixed up my name but it was sent to my address. The name on the package read "Thomas Conde" so that will be the name of my bike now. Retarded much.
