Thanks, I have a problem with the arteries going from my heart to my lungs. Plus the lower half of my right lung is heavily scared so it doesn't work. All in all I easily get pneumonia. So I usually end up in the hospital 2 or 3 times a yr.By the way, it is good to see you back!
It is in good shape. I am just not sure what bike it goes to. I have this tank with the original paint. All 350RD's I have seen have a Yamaha decal not a screw on emblem. That tank is in great shape
As long as the kit is for your particular model/size carb you should be good to go. You might be able to get one from your local yamaha dealerIs there a particular carburetor rebuilding kit. That is preferred over other kits?
I think you might be right on a 73 RD250. 72 had a screw on cap. 73 the emblem is foward and lower. What I have found is the tank color was gold/black. Want to make sure on color scheme. So I can paint tank and side covers the correct color. Then put them on Ebay.A pure wild ass guess is 1973 RD250/350. Sometime in 74 (early/late?) they started using the decals. 72 was the R5350 which also had a screw on emblem but I think the emblem was higher on the tank.
