ARGGG!! That's what I've been looking for!! I've wasted about $40-50 on this flasher, that relay...this resistor, that capacitor. This thing is the simplest solution and an exact swap to the original flasher. Thanks for the tip...

Really bummed I didn't get this ready for the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Rally this past weekend. If the paint hadn't taken 3 months...I might have been done.
Did a little work over the last few days. Pulled the rubber off the stock pegs. Took an angle grinder to the metal underneath and shaped it up a little...drilled and tapped some holes for chrome socket caps...painted them...and here you go! Well...I ran out of socket caps so I couldn't complete them...but I really like them!
Then I went to work on mounting the tail section to the frame...
...and then mounting the seat pan to the tail section.
Just needs some foam and leather...

As far as the flasher relay goes, I bought one of those that Justin posted and it worked great (until I shorted it out). I then went to Autozone and bought a 2 prong Heavy Duty flasher relay for $6 and it did the trick as well. It does however make the click noise but I am ok with it.
How do you plan to mount your seat pad?

I will adhere the foam to the top of the seat pan here...right over top of the screw heads and wrap the whole thing in nice quilted leather.
The seat pan has metal drywall mollies thru it that "pop" into the rubber grommets in the tail section under it. See the three mollies?
Then those three mollies line up to the three black rubber grommets in the tail section.
Then the seat pan "pops" in to hold it down on top. So it easily "pops" on and off for oil tank access and tail section removal.

So my gas tank had a bubble in the paint and I had to send it back. And now the painter is holding it ransom for more money. So...the thing isn't on the road yet. UGGGGGHHHH!!
Anyway...in the meantime...the seat is getting upholstery and I am installing a few finishing touches...
