Got a piece of junk 1981 yamaha sr250 that I decided to play around with. I couldn't decide on a paint scheme so I chose the boring route and went all white. I will be posting progress pictures of the build.

Decided to add a kick starter to the sr250. Found all the parts needed

Found a rare 1971 suzuki t125 stinger fuel tank. Little rusty so I am soaking it in vinegar and then using Caswell sealer

I found an extra sr250 swingarm and decided to extend it 6 inches. Here's a comparison of the original vs the extended

Rebuilt the forks with new seals and also added an external spring to help stiffen the front up

Found an old 1960s headlight with speedo. The mini speedo from dime city cycles fits perfectly.
