Brad,
How far out is the outer pipe? It looks like it may need a tweak to bring it in closer. Could just be the angle of that shot of course.
There just hanging on the cylinders they have no rear mounts yet and my home made stand is pushing it out but they will end up pretty tight to the frsme and im sure they will need additional messing with but to be turthful im not in love with these pipes in general. i kinda think there not affective with my port work at this point but untill i hit the lotery there what i got

Re: Time to make the rd look like it runs haha

Where did the pipe dimensions come from and what makes you think they aren't suitable?

Re: Time to make the rd look like it runs haha

there a set of dg's all i did was roll the cones at the weld seems and swap the head pipes left to right

Re: Time to make the rd look like it runs haha

Laced my new wheels i took a chance and bought rd350 front spokes and laced a wide high shoulder 18 off the rear of a old mx250 yamaha. and a xs650 front hub so i could run fzr rotors and the rear is a high shoulder off a xs650 with a yz125 rear hub and spokes if nothing else this bike will stop

Re: Time to make the rd look like it runs haha

If only i had a friend named bigrich that was good a truing wheels ;D

Re: Time to make the rd look like it runs haha

It's easier than it looks. The rear is already in a "truing stand" and all you need is a sharpie. Do concentricity first and side to side wobble second.
Spin the wheel slowly with a sharpie held somewhere convenient to the outer edge and let it touch the rim at the high spots. Loosen the spokes closest to the mark 1/4 turn and tight those opposite to pull the rim gently. When that's close do teh same from the side of the rim.

Try to avoid overtightening and it will get there faster than you think. You do need a decent spoke wrench though.

Yea im not looking foward to it teazer. but ive wanted this wheel set for a long time ive built them in my head several times with diffrrent rear hubs ive had but for one reason or another the yz hub stuck and i finally got off my ass put them together

Awesome I really want to build a seat like that. I may give it a try tomorrow. But that is definitely gonna look cool.
