  • I blew up the heated bed on my makerbot...   crazy enough though..  it was wayyyyy out of warranty...  and they still sent me replacement parts for free.  Guess it was a known issue.

  • it kept printing with smoke comin out?  ha..  crazy.  Heres the thing....  the controller box does not need to get that hot.  Theres not a whole lot of current requirements on those stepper drivers.
