1979 CB750F Supersport Part out
« on: Mar 13, 2019, 10:00:59 »
I've finally got to the stage of my build where I'm comfortable enough to sell the take offs. I know eBay would probably be best, but I've never sold there before and would prefer the parts go to some fellow DTT knuckleheads. Local pickup/meetup preferred, currently located in 40353. Buyer pays shipping/Paypal fees. The prices below are OBO, and I would be willing to offer a bundle discount, including a pretty handsome one if anyone is willing to take everything. If you'd like any more detailed photos or have any questions feel free to reply here or send a PM.

(If I don't get rid of some of this junk my wife will Marie-Kondo the life out of me  ;D)

From Craigslist post:
All parts removed from a 1979 CB750F Supersport with less that 21,000 mi. The bike was completely stock, with the original Honda inspection paint still on all the bolt heads (other than the handlebars which were replaced by the PO). The last photo is the actual bike before tear down began in November 2018. All parts have been stored in my house since removal. Everything was in working/riding condition and was only removed for a café/restomod build.

 Parts Available:
Front end (clamps, forks, axle, calipers) - 250
 Front rotors - SOLD
 Rear wheel - 150
 Rear rotor - 50
 Rear brake caliper/master cylinder - 50
 Swingarm - 30
 Rear brake arm - 10
Rear axle and chain adjusters - SOLD
Air box with carb boots - SOLD
 Front fender - SOLD
 Chain guide - 20
 Rear shocks - 20
 Headlight - 30
 Tail light - 30
 Turn signals - SOLD
 Horn - SOLD
 Foot peg brackets - SOLD
 Center stand - SOLD
 Rear cowl 20
 Stator (not working) - SOLD
 Carburetors - SOLD
 Dash - SOLD
(A few more odds and ends, see photos for everything)

Might be interested in that rear brake master cylinder - if you're willing to sell just that (don't need the caliper) what would buy buy it?  I have to check if the thing is the same as the one I have on my '82.

It should fit, but definitely check to be sure. I'd do $40 shipped and throw the caliper in for free. You never know when you might want to run a rear hand brake for all those no footed wheelies the kids do
