    "what'cha drinking tonight?"

I found a 24-pack of Blue Moon in the basement. I bought them for my 22-year-old little brother on New Year's because that's the only beer he drinks, but he was a deadbeat that night. I'd forgotten about it. I can't feel my toes right now, so I'm aces.

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I'm inclined to agree. It might not be terrible even without titles, if you could talk him down some.

My guess is that it keeps them from falling out and making your ears look even more uncomfortably gross? ANyway, you shouldn't be on eBay for O-rings, you should go to McMaster-Carr. Find exactly the size you need in a better compound more suitable to your needs.

I was under the impression that the only forgivable heavy customization one could do to a Bonnie was to use it in constructing a Triton. Use of the word "Swag" in a positive connotation indicates this guy is probably a rich troll.

    "what'cha drinking tonight?"

Been a rough few days, between blowing $1,600 on various emergencies, a sibling's violent episode, a parent in the hospital, another sibling disappearing for a few days, a couple of problems with the pets, the cars... About the only thing that's working right is the bike, and for that, I'm...

Or, someone screwing around with someone else's bid-bot. :D You can bet they'll try to retract this one.

Redd's Apple Ale. Nice flavor without being too syrupy-sweet.

Cafe racers at the "Ace" and thoughts on hipsters

I listen primarily to, and compose, drum & bass and jungle. Does this mean I can't has café? Or am I still cool, since by necessity rather than hipster aesthetic, the majority of my collection is on vinyl and acetate dubplate? :D

A loud pop, then engine dies, then I have to push a cb350 2 miles

Absolutely, I neglected to consider that in my generalization. Fortunately in many cases, things such as rubber seals are pretty universal. The clutch actuator seal in my DT250, for example, is the same part number as in a modern FZR. Fancy that.

    difficult to push

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it probably has disc brakes in the front, right? If that's the case, there's your friction. I love discs for safety reason, but they generate some friction even when they're not engaged. Drums can be configured, and often *come* configured in bikes, so...

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

I think part of the issue is that people think, "If it isn't a cruiser, a crotch rocket, or a regular old dirt bike, it must be a 'cafe' because I heard the term on TV once and I don't know of any other kind of bikes."

A loud pop, then engine dies, then I have to push a cb350 2 miles

Unfortunately, there isn't likely to be much of an aftermarket source for upgraded parts, with OEM being roughly equivalent or better than any available reproductions. With cars it's different, since there's such a *massive* following and so much market for rebuilds and modification. Most...

A loud pop, then engine dies, then I have to push a cb350 2 miles

I know, I know! I've just got a lot of Polish heritage and I'm a huge guy, 6'3" and 260lbs. I look like a bear riding a Shriner's bike, on my little DT250. So it's funny to make jokes in that context. Also, OP: If you can afford to replace any of the parts attached to the stuff that broke, I...

A loud pop, then engine dies, then I have to push a cb350 2 miles

If a hammer or a torch is brute force, a hammer plus a torch is finesse. :D I've had lots of luck using hot and cold to expand or contract the work area, or to degrade the Loctite to get it to release. ALso, a combination of acetone and lightweight motor oil works wonders for that stuff. My...

A loud pop, then engine dies, then I have to push a cb350 2 miles

Red Loctite is only bad if you don't have beefy man-arms, but instead have been relegated to use gangly boy-arms for your project. My recommendation for the inside of engines is always red loctiteIt's one thing to have trouble taking it apart, another entirely for it to decide it doesn't want...
