ya $200 is a bit too much for my build. Not too crazy about the carb hanging so far out either. Might be worth trying to make one. Maybe mock one up out of PVC pipe then make it out of copper pipe? easy to solder but might be hard to find copper cheap.
I dont know much about carbs but the local bike mechanic i bounce ideas off of said the cheapest way to try the single carb set up is using a Harley carb, it would be jetted close enough to start up and run without much guess work. But im sure you would be using a much better quality setup.

I like it ! And I agree with Desmo, if you have 5 bikes in your garage that don't belong to you either have a custom cycle shop, hopefully with paying customers, or a chop shop in which case you wouldn't be advertising.
After work one night, on my first bike, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out why it wouldnt start. Forgot to put it in neutral before turning it off in the morning. Once I figured that out, it would stall every time I tried to get rolling. Finally noticed I still had the kickstand down.

I kinda like the Turbo out the side like that but if you did want to move it, wouldnt it fit down between the center stand mounts ? might be easier for plumbin aswell since the exhaust comes...

Re-inspired me to get off my a$$ and start making time to work on the one in my garage. Im gald to hear another person report on the fat front tire not having an adverse effect on the ride experience.
Ran accross some interesting info on these batteries. Thought you might be interested. I am also planning on running one of these in my 750. Seems do-able. I was just about to buy the batteries and do the soldering myselfbut the guy selling them might be able to supply them complete with wire...
