i am in the middle of painting the shocks on my 77 kz650 and i ran into a snag. it looks like the PO stripped one of the upper mounts. can this part be replaced? i cant see any welds and it looks like it might be threaded into the frame. HELP! i need to get back on the road!

i am not sure what street tracker bars look like. i was thinking about some gold supercross bars from a dirtbike but i like the look of clip-ons too much i think.

thanks everyone! its nice to be on a forum that doesnt flame all the noobs! my 1st 100 miles has gone smoothly and a kawi tech says the carbs seem sync'd enough but i need to turn down the idle screws. thats a job for tomorrow, along with an oil and filter change.
