Is there any way to get the speedo shut again after opening it up? I had one from one of my bikes that was badly dented, glass scratched, etched, basically a real POS. So I opened it up, played with it, cleaned it up a bit to see if I could. Having done that, it appears there is no way to get...

A good friend of mine lost his job a few months ago, and since then he has been getting set up to make his own parts. He's a mechanical engineer, so I figure he knows best. ;D I made some suggestions to him, side covers, fenders, cafe seats. He's considering them. My wife is also an engineer...

Ah, good old Rustoleum hammered. It's pretty good, I like Hammerite in it's place mostly though. I used to use that a lot on my Jeep, it's really durable. After that, it's POR-15. Really tough stuff. :o
