Well - Success... The Magikphun Project Phase I is now complete. Yup, it's still rough, and there is a long way to go. But for now she is ridable and fun. I covered the seat, and made some makeshift brackets for th license plate and the tail lamp. I don't like the position of the tail lamp or...

Foamed the seat today... Eek - it looks kinda ugly. But is nice n cushy - even too - when sat on... I used Leon's plug idea for the cowl, then build a bed for the padding out of the EVO foam flooring to even everything out. Then added a 2" layer of heavy duty high density upholstery foam...

Leon, Could you show more detail or expand on using the existing seat cover, specifically how how made/attached the transition from seat bottom to backrest/hump? Thanks! magikphun

Some more progress tonight... I think I am going to try and re-use the original seat cover as well. It may be salvageable. More tomorrow probably.

Progress so far... Tank is roughly monted to seat int he position I like. I will then dissasemble strip down the foamies off the seat and reprime everything. probably bondo a couple nicks out of the tank as well - AFTER it gets bolted back to the seat 8). There is some tension on that sheet...

Started the seat today... Not sure how I am supposed to deal with the seat pan since it arches up, and presumably into the hump... Thoughts and suggested, tips, and tricks welcome...

Hmmm... i vaugely remember that. I still have the tool box, but I'd rather not have it on the bike... Unless y'all think thats a majorly stupid idea... Any ideas on how to secure the fender decently without it?
