Hey all
The wife made me sell my old bike (CB360T) a year ago, but now the wife is gone! ;D So I'm looking for a CB200 or larger. In Ontario. The only things is it must run. Dosen't have to run well, but no major drama would be nice.
Thanks fella's
As I said. she needs some playing with jetting. I had a bit of a flat spot around 3 1/4 throttle. Poor mans jetting (ie tape)restricted the air flow enough to smooth it up. I figure that works out to probally on size up on the main. The tape may not look drop dead gorgious but she's running like...
Well I've gone and totally distroyed my back. It's gonna be quite awhile before I can be on a bike again and even longer before I can ride a low down cafe bike. So I'm selling my 1974 CB360 Twin. It has a custom one off tank. (glass over stock tank) As well as a custom seat. The seat is...
Well here it is pretty much all done. Some nickel and dime stuff still kicking my ass. But she turns heads which is what alot of it is about right?? See my post in the help section. Sorry for the crappy photo my camera a little screwed up right now...
Well I'm pretty much done my 74 cb360T project. I'd take some photos but my camera is screwed up at the moment. That being said I've run into some things that have left me scratching my head. I'm running cone shaped pod filters. dunstall styed mufflers, one and half turns on the mixture screw...
Re: Project "PUsH"-1974 Honda CB/CL 450 Cafe Racer/Tracker Project *Updated 4/29/07*
Hey just out of curiousity, How many points on the main jet did you have to go up to run those pipes/filters??
Those pipes sound unbelievable!!!
I know very little about 4 strokes. This is my first. I've been playing with 2 stokes for years. So I'm used to rejetting when ever you do anything to the bike. Is it constructive to do plug chops on 4 strokes? Or should I just ride around for a bit and keep an eye on the plugs? Does anyone know...
If I change my 74 360 twin from a stock air box to pod filters, yet run the stock pipes. Do I need to rejet the carbs?? I realize that every bike is a little different, but is it typical to rejet for just pod filters?
Great suggestions everyone. I would use the stock pan but because I lengthened the tank by a fairly decent amount I don't think it will work. I wonder if the seat from that web site might be a better option. Is it hollw in the turtle back? I've decided to relocate my battery back there. Other...
