    CB360 parts -- Philadelphia

Hoping to get rid of a (failed) project bike. Low mileage motor will run w/ clean carbs, gas, air, electric, etc. Starter was removed and blocked off, but trans issue makes kick-starting a bit of a chore. -- Titled frame is chopped a few inches behind the shock mounts -- Scrambler pipes --...

    CB360 Parts

Hi all, I've got a couple parts from a 1975 CB360 that I no longer need: Mufflers are a little holey. Not pictured -- stock tail light and seat pan with the top 2" of foam chopped off. lemme know if anyone wants any of it...

Where do you get your fibreglass and other questions

Yeah, it's pretty neat stuff. Just pulled my first seat off and it feels to be about 3 pounds. As a rower, I see the real stuff (carbon fiber) for a couple hours a day. Ths is a much cheaper alternative, and strong enough for most applications. Just pay attention to the thread numbers....the...

Where do you get your fibreglass and other questions

Mat requires the use of more resin and it's harder to lay down flat -- it would require more sanding. It is, however, supposed to lay on corners better than cloth. I haven't had a problem with only cloth. (but keep in mind that I'm in the middle of my first seat) This might be helpful...

Where do you get your fibreglass and other questions

I used www.fiberglasssite.com. They have a "learning center" that explains things like how much resin you need. I ordered 5 yards of black fiberglass cloth and a 0.67 gallon kit of epoxy resin. The cloth is 57 by 54 threads, a little tighter than I would have liked. But it looks just like...

    $50 mod thread

Taping rims to paint spokes and hubs: This isn't really a mod, but I think it makes taping up your rims a little bit easier. Instead of going around each spoke nipple with several pieces of tape, get some reinforcement labels for hole-punched papers. Cut the label towards its center: Slip...

    eBay Universal Rearsets; Any experience?

A couple guys on here run rearsets that look really similar to those, and they're homemade. I think it would be possible to make the same quality rearset for about half the price. (can't talk as I haven't done it myself) If you search the site, it has been done. but if you can't fabricate...

    Philly - CB360

hahaha took me a while to figure that all out. just couldn't put that together JRK -- that's actually a bright green on the frame. but now I'm thinking about black on orange. That'd be sweet

    finally starting my 360

Yeah, the plans sound great. That'll be sweet I've got one myself. Here's my intro: http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=7701.0 As far as the seat pan, I have a sheet of aluminum mounted flush with the bottom of the frame rails. A 12V 8ah battery squeezes PERFECTLY between the rails and is...

Removing Rear Spring and Adjusting Rear Shocks

For me, this job only required one tool -- a hook spanner. First I knelt with the shock standing on end. Inserted the spanner between two coils, horizontal to the ground. Then just lean on the spring and have someone knock out the two spring seat stoppers (that's the real name, I would...

    Philly - CB360

I messed around with MS paint and this is what I came up with for paint. I'm thinking about john deere green for the frame and black tins. I haven't seen many bikes with these colors (probably why I'm having trouble settling on it). Let me know what you guys think.

Help me decide on a taillight

looks great stagger. maybe sand out the raised writing? "Premier" I doubt it's noticeable from any more than 3 feet away but I think it would keep that back end super clean
