The only downfall is that they don't make a kit for the 550. Unless you think the 650 kit would work.

Another Milwaukee rider. 81 GS550 cafe. Still a work in progress, but she runs, so I ride her as much as possible and leave the wrenching to the winters. Looks like that may be coming soon. If there are any other Suzuki riders around, I'm always looking for help and parts. Cheers!

I've searched just about everything I could online. Including Yoshimura caps, but still haven't been able to find them. Unfortunately I don't have the tools or know how to make something like that @_@ Otherwise I would just go that route. Wonder if I can find someone to make me a set.

I'm working on an 81 GS550L cafe project and saw a picture of these cylinder head cover caps online. The PO of my bike had these terrible diamond plated aluminum ones made up and I don't have the OEM ones. Does anyone have an idea of where I might be able to find these or something like it? I...

Really excited to see what you do with this! I've seen a couple classic GS bikes set up with modern yoshi exhausts that look amazing. Great work so far!

Agreed, at the very least you will want a front fork brace and something to prevent anything from getting thrown up under your seat pan or into your pods. I've seen some people weld or attach something to the back part of the frame instead of a rear fender, which I think looks pretty clean...

It's looking really great! What exhaust is that? Love it. The headlight looks just a tad high for the lines of the bike, but that's just my .02

I appreciate it. My Clymer's manual came in earlier this week, so its going to go through the usual maintenance to make sure its on the top of its game. I have an oil leak somewhere. I'm planning on digging into it this weekend, but with the lack of a physical garage it makes it a little...
