Would any of you guys happen to know if a cm 450a tank will fit on a cm250 c custom?
I'm going to attempt to fix up a little cafe racer for my 10 year old grandson. I think I found a fairly clean 450 tank and the
250 tanks seem far and few between. BTW if the front mounts would work I can come...
Someone gave me a little Honda and I think it is a CM250 from what I can tell. The frame number is MC062000885 from the best I can see. I've been looking on the internet without much luck. Any ideas on how to read the numbers? Thanks
Is a rectifier diode pretty much a standard diode? I found some for cheap and was thinking about using one along with a headlight relay.
They are 1n4004 1A btw.
Does any one know if the coils on a 98 vz800 Suzuki marauder are exactly the same?
They sell new after market coils but they don't specify left or right front or back
Got these top of the line rearsets on my 83 Yamaha xs650
I've been playing with the adjustments trying to find the sweet spot.
The bike is not easily shifted and it might be a internal problem but I don't think it is.
either way I'd like the best set up I can get.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
I was looking for ways to wire up for a GPS.
It would be nice if I could use one of the wires from the speedo lights I'm not going to be needing.
It would be nice to avoid the cigarette lighter thing but I don't know if that's possible.
Being that it reduces the voltage.
Hey, what acid makes metal brittle?
I remember someone mentioned how a certain acid would make a chain brittle.
The reason I'm asking is because I like using Hydrogen Chloride to clean metal parts with it,
but no one else should because it could be dangerous.
Would anyone happen to know where to get the old Yamaha 3 pin connector?
Would anyone know what tool is used to remove these old Yamaha pin connectors?
First thing I have 4 wires coming from start button/ stop switch that go to the harness.
When I turn the key to on the black wire is hot with a test light but it doesn't go into the harness.
Does it light up because it is completing the circuit?
The other black wires go to ground so should I...
I got a XJ 550 that I think is a 1981
I got the engine to turn over and got the carbs freed up
The problem is that the white sticker with the vin # was partly rubbed off by the clutch cable
I need to get a title if I can get this thing running. The MVD in NM is not that user friendly.
Question...
I put led turn signals and a electronic flasher on my brothers 78 kz1000. I cant get the them to light up at all. the indicators light up dimly and don't blink. it has two indicators so I don't think I need a diode. It came with hazard lights too but the wires weren't connected at the switch so...
Okay so I've been ordering the pricey GXL wire when I need wire. I read that the wire you can get at autozone is PVC and does not stand up to heat that well. I don't really know if the XLPE is the best for motorcycle application or not. I also can't seem to find out what type was used on the...
I had a 74 TX500 back in the day. I liked the color but had it painted black anyway!
Now on my XS 650 I would like to paint it that same blue color. Have any idea how to find the old paint code?
I decided to give drag bars a try on my Gl500 but the master cylinder is at a angle. It also has dual rotors. I think MC's will interchange but the bore is what makes a difference. Dime City has a selection but they dont specify what they will work with. Input appreciated!
I was thinking about getting some 6061 1/8th" plate for a speedometer bracket. Any thoughts on how it will be for cutting drilling and strength? I don't think I'll be bending it.
Thanks Will
