yeh be darned careful about that because many twostrokes with oil injection lube the crank with it. On those engines you don't want to go premix.
The stock tank on my GT is about two quarts....that should last it 800 - 1000 miles.

My suzi GT750 has '88 honda CBR front end and swingarm (and brakes, wheels, tires, etc). Works fine, you can do pretty much whatever you want as long as you have the tools and the desire.
Foam backed is the key, and not cheap like the metal end cap versions. With CVs on a two stroke I'm just as happy with a stock airbox and good oiled foam filter. VMs I'd consider pods.
Well, I'm a bit north of the Triangle, 20 miles south of Henderson just about on the NC/VA line, but I've done a lot of fork seals.
Honestly it ain't hard. Screw what the book says about pulling the tubes out of the tripletrees, you wanna leave 'em in there. Don't take the caps off yet, you...
Still a work in progress. Cafe seat / rear fender from Omar is my next addition, and I'm moving the rearsets back to the passenger pegs when my new linkage rods from dimecity show up.
'74 GT, '89 CBR front end and swing arm.
Yeh I haven't heard anything about a Dragon incident and I live in NC (and ride an HD) :). Them mountain folk know how to take care of business like that though..
Always interested in Kettles. Because of my state's issues I can't buy any bike without a title unless it's just going to be for parts. NC is not friendly to 'abandoned' vehicle purchases.
GT750 stuff needed....top triple tree (the top clamp assembly). Points plate (the round timing plate points attach to). Good working throttle cables. Chrome air box side plates for 74 - 77 model. All i can think of for now :)
Dan, I'd be interested in a roll, especially if there might be a left over irregular short roll. Thinking of running it down the front fender, tank, and rear fender for an old school racing stripe look. 40ft is probably over double what I'd use.
Sorted! Rides great.
Noob mistake, mounted the generic plastic fender too close to the top of the tire. Rolled fine when everything was in the garage, but I failed to account for tire expansion and on a 160 mile test run burned a hole right through the top of the fender :(.
So, $50 for...
EP2 being magnetic induction means you get to stick a magnet(s) on your wheels and a sensor on the fork. Don't need to worry what your bike hardware is. The EP7 looks like it hooks up to your mechanical cable.
Looks pretty cool, be interesting to see how they'd hook up tach on the older bikes...
