What's the deal? I've heard of it, but never any good info. What needs to be done? My 1977 RD400 has calipers that need a lot of work and a rebuild kit, and I don't want to spend the $50/$100 on Oring kits if I can do upgraded set ups for not much more... What year calipers do I need? I assume...

So I got to thinking.... you could easily adapt some cheapo ebay headlight brackets to be clip ons.... I don't know how they would be as far as sturdiness and what not, but has anyone done anything like this? Really want clip ons, but don't want to fork out the money.. I have old bars laying...
