What if any starters are interchangable with my 75 500t? Just picked the bike up the kick starter works great but the starter just makes noise and doesnt actually crank the motor over. I pulled the side cover and checked the starter chain and it was hooked up. Thanks in advance for your help and...

Only 12.8v with just the key on not running

Went and bought a brand new battery today and it still was sending over 15v to the headlight and increased with the revs.

Can i get a capacitor a local auto parts store. Guys thanks again for your help

The battery and the flasher is the only electric things ive pulled off the bike.

Do you mean the battery silenoid? I have that still hooked up. The bike will not fire without that hooked up.
