So rustoleum appliance epoxy for a sandblasted frame?

Powder coating a frame should not cost a couple hundred bucks if you are doing a common color (i.e. Black or White or Gray). I would call around and see if they can fit you into a run they are already doing, you may have to wait longer but most are willing to cut a deal. If you require a...

Powder Coating Question for JRK5892 (Or anyone else)

The home style is good for small stuff but for a frame or other really large parts you are best to go to the pros. I was able to get my frame blasted and powder coated black for under $100, looking back, I am glad I ponied up the cash as the finish is extremely durable and perfect for a frame...

How to convert a Honda CB650 custom into a café racer???????

I dont know if there is a "Proper" way to go about it. The origins of the Cafe are anything but "proper" but I suppose what you are after is the general idea... strip most of the heavy luxury / unnecessary parts off of it and get an idea what you want it to look like... after that its all...

Wiring - go new, or reuse

Thanks, that is what I was kinda thinking to do but the old wiring seems like it could be more problematic and in turn more effort than doing it from scratch. Anyone wire their bike from scratch and live to tell the tale?

Wiring - go new, or reuse

Ok, I have a CB450 that I am getting close to finishing a ground up rebuild on but I have a question; I have the old wiring harness, it is in decent shape but a good portion of it is electrical tape and old. I am not planning on running anything more than the bare bones (blinkers, headlight...

    '73 CB450 coming together...

I guess I assumed too much but I thought Clubmans or clip ons were a requirement... ;D I did notice that I have some twist in my forks when I hold the front tire and turn the bars. Do you guys think the front fender will remedy that or is a fork brace needed?

    '73 CB450 coming together...

I got some new clamps and installed a set of pro tapers that came off my CR250. What do you guys think? They feel really nice and I think they look much better than the old MX'ers I had on there. I know they are not "Cafe" bars but... ya know... use what you got.
