    Reintroduction

A few years back I purchased a 72 CB350 with the intention of turning it into a cafe racer. The guy from Ohio Cafe Racers got it running for me and then the engine promptly blew up. It was NOT the fault of Ohio Cafe Racers, so I want to make sure everyone understands that right off of the bat...

    Back after being away

Well, I'm back in the market for a bike after being too sick to ride for awhile. My last CB350 blew up and couldn't be saved. In about two weeks, I will be in the market for a replacement. I only have one prerequisite, I need a bike with a workable starter. Back problems and other medical issues...

    Death of a CB350

My 71 CB350 was on its way to Michigan this last weekend when the engine decided it was going to grenade. It basically blew up in the case and left most of its parts on the highway. I wasn't riding the bike at the time and the person who was gave me a 1985 Kawasaki ZX900 that needs some work but...

http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/368796572.html This isn't really the type of bike that is popular on this board but it struck me as a pretty good deal. The bike is in good shape and the only problem is has is that it won't charge the battery. Once I learn a little more about what that...

71 CB350 Hard to start dies at stoplights

My bike is back to being hard to start and sometimes stalling at stoplights. The carbs were rebuilt, the points set, timing set and valves checked by Greg at OhioCafeRacers.com. The bike routinely takes more than 5 kicks to start and then runs for a few seconds and dies. When it finally stays...

    Another Cafe Racer kit question

Can someone take a look at the cafe racer kit at the attached link. Seems like a lot of stuff for $100.00. I'm sure I can do better shopping around but for a once stop shop it doesn't seem unreasonable. I'm trying to get an opinion from anyone that has put the same parts on their bike and what...

    What seat for a 71 CB350 Twin

What other models have the same seat as the 71 CB350 Twin? I've looked at all the different shops people post on here a great places to buy cafe racer type seats without luck. Most list a seat for the CB450 or CB550, and of course the 750. Left out is the CB350 Twin. I found a place the offers...

    74 Honda CB450 $900 Found on Craigslist

http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/358805915.html Found this on Craigslist in Columbus Ohio. If I could get $900 for my CB350 it would be sitting in my garage. As it stands, that won't happen so someone here should snap this up. I don't have any connection to the seller. I saw this and thought...

Has to be a way to do this

If I understand correctly, the headlight on my Honda 71 CB350 Twin is a sealed beam and needs to be replaced if the bulb goes out. That is distinct from replacing just a bulb inside the light housing. So, that started me thinking, there has to be a way to replace the sealed beam with a...

Just want to say one more time....

....that I really like this forum. As a member of the pro-gun community in Ohio (please, I'm not pushing my issue just hear me out) I deal with a lot of forums. By far, this is the most helpful community out there. Usually, the gun forums are pretty good but you always get one or two idiots...

I'm looking for where I can find the "pod" or K&N type filters for my CB350 to replace the stock airboxes. Someone sent me an email with the part number from one of the vintage bike shops but I lost it. I hope this email makes sense. If not, let me know and I will post a picture of what I'm...

Might have found a great deal, Yamaha Vision

I found a 1982 Yamaha Vision 550 that supposedly runs for $300. The owner claims the only problem is the tank has two small stress related cracks that seep a little gas. Plus, he said the bike needs a tune up. Pictures are attached - I'm looking for opinions on this bike if anyone has one.

New (to me) Honda CB350 twin dies when coming to a stop.

New (to me) Honda CB350 twin dies when coming to a stop. It doesn't matter if it's a stop sign, stop light etc. As soon as I roll off the throttle it dies immediately. The bike fires right back up but it's frustrating to have to restart at every stop. Other than that the bike runs very well...
