I have a 1981 GS750L that didn't come with side covers. I'm cant find the exact ones that say they're for a '81. But I like the older 77-79 ones anyway. Does anyone know if they'll direct fit without modification?
I'm going through and replacing the electrical on my '81 GS750. I check periodically to make sure everything works as I go. I decided to start it for the first time since starting this project and it is running wide open now. Any ideas?
Just picked up my new project. '81 Suzuki GS750. Runs good but the electrical comes with a free length of home extension cord in the middle of the harness. That is the only thing that scares me.

I know it's not the normal bike for this forum but I'm advertising it everywhere so I can get back into something a little more cafe. 2003 Softail Anniversary. Fuel injected, Kuryakyn controls, Python exhaust. Just over 15k miles. Asking $9000BO. Can call or text 217-853-0594 for any questions...
What's one of these worth? I have a chance of snagging one cheap with a fuel leak and carbs need synced. Otherwise in really good shape.

I don't know how many on here have neons on your bikes but I just put some on my Harley. I'm not sure how or where to mount a switch though. How did you guys set it up?
This has tons of shine so I thought it was appropriate to show it here. '03 HD Softail Deuce. 88ci with only 10k on the clock. Rides fantastic. Picked it up 3 hours from home on an impulse purchase and rode it back in tennis shoes and shorts. I had no problems at all with it. It will do...
I have tried everything but replacing y plug boots on my '86 Ninja 900. Cylinders 2 and 3 are the biggest problem with slipping off the plugs. What can I do short of replacing them? I tried putting a little non-hardening gasket maker inside the boots as an adhesive but it doesn't seem to help...
I couldn't find an appropriate forum to put this under so I choose here. I was devastated that the Pontiac GT ST wasn't going into production so I made a Chevrolet counter-part. If there is anything that you guys would like to see changed, tell me and I will see what I can do. No, I am not...
I am putting new spark plug boots on my GPZR because one was tore. What is the process for this? I was going to put di-electric grease in the boots then put the wire through them and then on the plug.
It is the film process that puts camo on rifles and designs on cell phone covers. I was thinking of doing carbon fiber to my ZX. Anyone know of any shops that do it in the Midwest?
I am looking at turning my '86 Ninja 900 into a street fighter. Problem is that I still need to keep room for a passenger. Any ideas on something aggressive looking/functional?
Get your minds out of the gutter. But, seriously. I can't get the axle nut off the front wheel of my bike. It is a '86 Ninja and uses 12mm allen heads on both ends of the axle. Everything is loose and the nut is on so tight I can't even hold the other end and try to spin. Any ideas? It is...
Got done painting my 86 GPz900R. Only problem was a pinhole gas leak that ruined the tank's paint, but I will fix and get back on sometime this week. I like the full fairing but love the fighter look so am looking for ideas on what to do.
Just because it is blue and its hot at the same time. Kidding. Got it all together and painted, now in a few weeks I can get the time to cut and buff it. Thinking either a black and Kawasaki green or silver and Kawasaki green graphic.
I found an item called the McCuff. It is supposed to go over the nossle of a gas pump and keep gas from spilling down your tank. Has anyone used this? Spent a lot of time on my new paint job and don't want it ruined the first time out.
Getting ready to paint my GPZ900R (not a cafe, I know). But was wondering if anyone has used Duplicolor's Paint Shop. Hell of a deal on it at Autozone, buy 2 cans of color and get the clear or primer for free. I used to paint cars and have used Duplicolor rattle cans for little stuff and...
Finally got rid of my GS1000 and upgraded to a 1986 GPZ900R (ZX900A). Same bike as Tom Cruise had in Top Gun but a different color. Runs great. Hard to hold on from 1st gear through 3rd. Not going to cafe it but will sport it as a street fighter until I get done fixing and repainting the...
