    Garage share?

Well, it hasn't happened for me yet. I'm moving my resto project into a tool shed to get it cleaned up for the riding season and working in anything serious at my brothers place, an hour out of town.

    Does anybody DIY rear sets?

Good looking stuff Hossier, I have filed the slot out on Al and steel before although I have access to a metal fabricating shop on occasion. I have also milled Al with a wood working router mounted inverted in a table. Screws or copious double sided tape holds the work piece to a full size...

    Does anybody DIY rear sets?

Hey crew, thanks for the help. I'm gonna try this weekend and mock up what I need. I have 3/16" cr plate, should be plenty strong. That video from Ichiban Moto looked good at first, I should read the disclaimer before pushing the play button.

    Does anybody DIY rear sets?

Haha, very good. I a little older than the crowd that is concerned with what people think of my thought process and I certainly get that a large portion of the Cafe scene will not have heard of Johnny Cash or find the strained reference as entertaining as I do (or once did). There are a lot of...

    Does anybody DIY rear sets?

Hey, I would like to make my own rear sets for a track project. Has anybody taken pics of a successful DIY project? I think a bike specific fabrication in 12g and mounting bracket welded on would be lighter than multi fit Aluminum. I could be wrong... This will be going into a '76 GS750

    Garage share?

Hey HR, I bought a 76 GS750 for $500 without a title 6 years ago. I cant get it licenced as it has the old serial # and not the standard VIN and no history. I've put about 100 hours and $500 into it so far; rebuilt carbs and petcock, both calipers and master cylinder, changed wheel bearings, new...

    Garage share?

Hey, are there any open shared space arrangements? Ideally in east Toronto or south Scarborough. I need space periodically to take a bike apart, possibly to paint but not necessary, heat is a bonus. I come with my own tools and a decent background of mechanical and automotive/bike...

    WTB: GS seat pan

Hey Tonners, I'm looking for a seat pan for a '76 GS750. I'll take a seat in any condition if it has an intact pan or enough that it can be repaired. I will be reforming it but I would like to get an idea of the original shape/geometry. It is going into a track day build. Thanks,

Just For Fun --- How OLD Are You?

I'm looking at 41 soon, had a CB450 in high school and college, sold it to start my business and grow up. Then did not renew the M validation (no graduated licenses in 1984) 10 years ago and am back riding again and working through the new graduated licensing scheme. Now riding a 1978 CB550K...

***2009 - THURSDAY HANG *** Be It Wrenching in the Garage or Hanging at TIMS..

Re: ***2009 - THURSDAY HANG *** Be It Wrenching in the Garage or Hanging at TIMS If it were dry, is it possible to squeeze a bike through the gate? I think a little wiggle would do. Don't get caught inside the gate of course... I have an awkward route to the back yard/ winter spot, so this...

Being new and all... I happened to be in the East end last night ,after recovering from the dumping last night and back into semi dry gear, I drove past the Spit. This used to be the greatest hangout spot...before the gentrification. Unwin street was under water and to bypass the gate, the...
