Complete engine with carbs. I've had this engine sitting around for a while. I was going to build a quad for it but never happened. It has 8000k on it and ran like new when pulled from my wrecked bike. $350 obo.

Selling my project due to not having time to work on it. The frame has been stripped of all unnecesary brackets and the rear loop has been welded in. All welds on the frame have been MPI'd. All the original parts are there to finish the bike including the sought after tank. I didn't get an...
I'm in need of a set of CB 450 pistons for my 500T. I'm interested in nos or anything new that would be the stock bore size and reasonable compression. I would accept a little oversize as long as they aren't used.
Thanks,
Jay
I've decided to go another direction with a project due to ongoing back problems. I have a 1975 Honda CB500T and would like to get hold of a Yamaha SR500. My honda's frame has already been worked over with a rear hoop welded in. I am looking for a project bike of roughly same value.
Even if...
Use the 32's. Better throttle response and easier to jet. 34 would be too big in my opinion, unless you are going all out circuit racing.( big $$$ and alot of motor work!!!)
So they do exist. I don't really think of ebay though. Alot of friends and family have had bad experiences. I guess I'll have to think about opening a PayPal account. Call me old fashioned but I like to be able to talk to someone when I'm giving over my hard earned $. Thanks Bob!
Thank you sir. I'm looking for an oversized kit so that I can clean up the bores. The 500T is a stroked version of the 450, but the 450 also has a higher compression ratio which I wouldn't mind. I was hoping to get a new kit so that I an start machining right away.
I'm also looking for...
I'm wondering where you guys get your pistons for these old twins. I have a 500T and I'd like to use 450 slugs to up the compression. I called wiseco and JE, niether of them list these pistons. Hansen Racing has them but I don't have that kind of budget.

I'm in need of ideas on how to bend the rear hoop for my CB500T. I can't seem to find a tube bender that will bend the tube to the proper dimensions. The tube is 1"OD and I need 6.140" between the rails. I thought of making a fixture but there must be an easier way. Any Ideas would help.

Re: PRESENTING THE NEW CB500T BUILD!
Great score! I look forward to following your build. I have a 500T in progress and I'll soon be starting a build thread.
