    Halogen to led headlight conversion

Alex - There are headlight kits for most popular ATV's that would convert them to LED, but they can be spendy. As for the wiring and voltage spec's, the previous post was correct. Most LED lights, in a sealed housing, are 9-32 Volt. Your ATV puts off 12V so any of them will work and they all run...

Custom Brat Seat "71 CB350 - Check it out!

Serizawa Tamao - I use what is called a "Topper Pad". Its a fairly dense 1" thick piece that is commonly used in furniture upholstery. I stack qty 2 of them together to reach the height I was after. There's also a few lil tricks to add cush to it so its not too dense, but this will be the base...

Custom Brat Seat "71 CB350 - Check it out!

I figured the pocket added character and style, and if I was gonna use it I might as well make it functional...Reg, Ins, Beer money, ID, or whatever you'd like it to be. I also used the bottom band of the jacket with its adjusters as the boxing of the seat...On the bike, these will be more...

    Motorcycle tech schools?

Save ur $$$...Read some manuals and get in your garage and fix something. Most MMI grads are morons and are less likely to get hired over a self taught enthusiast that know a his/her stuff. Do it because you love it, not because you're trying to make a living out of it.

1978 honda cb400t (twin) wont idle over 3000rpm?

TDC is after the exhaust valves have opened and closed. All of your timing marks should aligned at this point. The crank should be very easy to turn. Use a wrench or allen key on the most accessible gear in line with the crank. Usually the flywheel but i dont know this motor well enough to say...

    Axle Mounted License Plate Holder

The axle mount holders are OK but ADC is right with G force and vibration being an issue. Make sure the welds are decent and you use a locking washer and loctite on the bolts to hold your plate. And it is vital that the axle hole is the right size for your model. Any slop could create a...

    CB400T Carb help!

The threadless holes you were asking about are supposed to have a rubber plug in it. Not a Jet. A decent rebuild kit should include them.

    CB400T etc Pod filter fix!

Did your kit come fit for both carbs or just 1? Your pick makes me think both, but the site only shows 1 and doesn't specify.

    CB Caliper Rebuild

Great responses guys...I'll loosen the bleed to troubleshoot, but I think the return hole is blocked since the lever remains hard when it does this, as if the piston in the master isn't returning. I was unaware of this. I'll then polish #12's to allow it to float more freely. Thx Again.

new tires just came in... think i messed up

The Avon Road Riders AM26 are legit, but expensive. Shinko's are crap, and dangerous. Michelin's are OK but fairly expensive and lack grip. The new Dunlop Q2/Q3 are the best street tires out right now, but are not for Cafe bikes...But this is just my opinion. Ride all of these and respond with...

    CB Caliper Rebuild

So I need some advice...I'm working on getting this bike road ready, that was last registered in 1984. I came with a dismantled front brake Master, but the caliper was still in tact. I put on a newer Nissin Master off a '05 GSXR, and had Stream Line make me a new line. I then filled and bled...

    RD 250 1 A 2 Fork Shot-Swap or Repair?

Clymer manuals are the generic aftermarket manuals that are affordable and easy to find. The OE manual is better, but dont let the lack of guidance stop you in your tracks. Tear into this this, at a conservative pace of course, and ask questions as you go. My prior post was the 1's & 2's on how...
