Well .. to answer Leons original question. Yes. There are more of them and they do start to look alike after a while. But then again ... I am looking for them. When you immerse yourself in something for long enough it dosen't seem special . It becomes the norm, it seems to be every where...
LEGO's rock ! LEGO motorcycle rocks even more.
As a matter of fact i'm sure building with LEGO's as a kid led me to building with motorcycles. Sooo many possibilities. ;D
Always a tough decision.
Polished alloy and spoke rims get me every time. A great looking bike. The two stroke looks scarry to ride. You would have your hands full trying to keep the front wheel on the groung and keeping a grin off your face. But... I have a soft spot for xs400's and this is the...
Took me a second to realize the rear tire isn't even touching.
What really gives me the willys is knowing that one second after the picture was taken her left flip flop tore off followed by a pavment/ bare ankle/ bike sandwich sliding down the road. Shuddder.... :'(
Agreed! Not sure how you would describe Deadbolt to someone who has never heard it.
Hey! whats wrong with a pudding bowl? I have a Skidmaster (yes thats the brand) that my mom used to wear.
Ha Ha another one in the fold! I'd love to see them live. "Buy a Gun Get a Free Guitar". Been listening to a couple of the Meteors songs. OTMAPP. I'm also liking Batmobile. My favorite of theres is "Calamity Man"
As for the classics, I dabbled a bit back in the day. Dead Kennedys - To Drunk...
???Really??? He can afford a Ducati but can't spring for Bluetooth?
Thats funny. The first thing i noticed to was the loafers. I woulden't be caught dead wearing them on or off the bike. Unlike that guy who might be caught dead.
Mmmm I'm kinda new to the psycobilly thing. I was listening to Reverend Horton Heat (best stage name ever) on an internet radio station and I came across Deadbolt. The self proclamed scariest band in the world. I cant get enough of them right now.
Also how about" Ghoul Town" and" Drink with the...
Here's something for the XS400 guys. I'm not sure if this is common knowledge and I'm just slow but you can get parts from the XS650 parts suppliers. I was looking for the rubber boots that fit over the clutch and front brake lever. I found nothing listed on Parts N More so I looked up the OEM...
With the electrics removed I used some paint striper to take the black off. I gave them a good wet sanding and then took them to the polisher.
They turned out pretty good and wasn't too hard to do as they were basically round. The master cylinder is giving me a bit more trouble though as...
A couple of weeks ago I spent some quality time at a Princess Auto store and left $100.00 poorer. I managed to pick up some led indicator lights for the guage bracket. I also picked up a led lamp to fit the tailamp housing I am going to use. I am working out how to make it dual intensity and...
Not too much to show but some progress has been made. I painted the engine cases a while ago and have finally got the bottom end together with new plain bearings. I started to put the clutch basket together but found too much play between the basket and the snap ring so I had to order a shim...
Also if you still plan on polishing the covers you should spray it with paint stripper and hose it off first. It probably dosen't look like it but I bet there is a coat of clear paint still on the covers.
