Hey sorry guys, not too active on this forum, I drained the oil and found a really nice metalic flake, sorta like the kind you want painted on the tank, not in the oil...called the builder right away and hes gonna take it and tear it down...id have no problem doing it myself, I would have built...

I actually figured it out, on my particular bike I didnt need thr additional fused green part, with out that it wires up just like the stock solenoid, works great

Thank you very much, yea I wasnt sure about the tach and no I did not build it myself. I am not as familiar with motorycycle engines, but know my way around them based on my experience from older V8s. I will check that out and see if oil is getting to the cams. That diagram will be helpful...

Hey guys, you can see in the picture below that my mikuni 32s do not quite fit onto my cb500t, not only does the choke lever not clear the block but also the stack hits the battery tray, anybody know of a carb boot designed for the mikuni 32s that had a slight angle in it?

Possibly a dumb question but just wanted to run this by someone and see if I am correct...I am relocating my ignition coils, further back to run a different tank and I was wondering, when mounting the ignition coils they cannot be touching anything correct, as in they need to be free to heat up...

Well it's a long story but that wouldn't work as I am actually running a remote reservoir...I had the same idea of bending 3/8 pipe and running the hose over it to keep its shape, I may try that or something similar

Hey Guys, weird question here, but I have a master cylinder with a large hose coming off of it that attaches to the fluid reservoir...like this... However I need to have that hose make a 180 degree turn without kinking...anybody have a good solution?

I saw a pretty good lesson on shortening the cable and housing i may give it a try and see how it goes
