Can anyone confirm if the circled tabs are needed, if not I'm gonna grind them.
I think the right tab is the bracket for chain guard which I don't plan on running so can I loose it?
What's the tab on the left? Some kind of chain guide, is it needed?

Re-posting in Suspension.
Evening, managed to get all the bushings from my swingman. Couldn't press the suspension bushings out so cut them, and couldn't drive the pivot bushings out so also cut them.
Looking to get the bronze bushings for rebuild...
Hi, I've seen lots of posts on cb360 swing arm bushings but never seen a swing arm like mine....
I assume the bushings at the rear can be pushed out using the threaded rod and washer trick used by many...
But what about the bushings at the front where the arm joins the frame have you seen...

I'm going to build a battery tray under my brat style seat for my cb360 build. I will run the sparck moto reg/rec unit, now can I put this in the enclosed battery tray or will the unit get to hot with no air flow? Should I mount in direct airflow to keep it cool or provide some ventilation...
Had the forks on my CB360 skimmed and rechromed, would probably have been cheaper to have purchased new tubes after I factor in the traveling to and from the chromer but hey-ho. I used http://www.pittedforks.co.uk in Luton, UK.

Working on cb360 front forks, dismantled one fork but can't get the allen bolt at bottom out of the other, I assume the bolt is just spining the inside tube it's threaded to, is there a trick to prevent that and actually loosen the bolt?

I'm planning on running kick start only on my 1974 CB360, I've removed the starter motor but how do I remove the small fly wheel and remaining housing pictured below.
Also do I need to remove the sprocket attached to the stator or can I leave it in place.
