I've been diagnosing my cb360 as a misfire, all spark related parts are new and timing is spot on. Now looking at it being a fuel delivery/lean condition?
Under load I can wrap the throttle it barely gets up to speed, will get nowhere near redline, *lack of hp and slight hesitation like it's...
Just finished this build with all fresh wiring, only wires never changed is the yellow and blue wires coming from the points.
So one day out for a cruise bike misfired to a point where left cylinder went cold. Idle seems fine but high revs bike gets jerky with no power.
Just swapped in new...
I've installed an inline 1k resistor and it's slightly jumpy on my cb360. Did the same thing on my k8 cb750 and it's steady. Any ideas? Bigger resistor or double up?
Thanks

Wiring up from scratch and wanted to confirm something. From what I understand the stator is a 2 phase where the white and yellow are combined when the headlight is on.
So what I'll be doing is hard wiring the white yellow together and running it to the new reg/rec along with the red coming...
Rewiring from scratch as most components have been moved around. Can I get away with 8 gauge wiring for main ground, battery and starter wire? Oem wire measures 7.5mm with insulation
I have a favour to ask, need a measurement from anyone that runs the emgo shorty. I know the overall length is 12" but need to know the length of the center section where it's wider.
I was told I could but wanted to confirm first. Reason being all my bikes run AGM or conventional. My current build I'll be running an earth x. Be nice just to have one charger as I don't currently have a motorcycle specific charger...
So I'm having no luck finding CL360 scrambler pipes. Figured I'll tackle fabbing up my own. Planning to mig all together with mandrel bends.
Spent lots of time researching, but seeing if anyone had experience using the stock double wall flanges welded to mild steel.
Plan is to do a 2 into 1...
Going to rebuild my barn find cb360 carbs. Going to reuse all hard parts and use just new o rings and gaskets.
Just want to be able to fire it up before stripping it apart for build.
Question is can I leave carbs on the rack to clean or should it be completely disassembled?
So going through my barn find that hasn't ran in years. Drained oil smelled like gas. The oil pick up screen looks normal but found some small metal flakes within the sludge in the centrifugal oil filter housing.
My question is it normal to have a small amount of metal?
Also can crankcase...
Just wondering if anyone has used these or thoughts? Wanted to raise my back end up an inch without shelling out more money on shocks. I order these aluminum pieces off eBay.
Almost done just a few finishing details I need help with.
1. I'll need to glue foam to pan as the foam is really firm and the seat is upswept. Spray adhesive seams to be pricey, any other good alternatives. If not I'll stick to 3m spray.
2. Also what can be used to sand/shape foam.
Thanks...
Looking for some real world reviews of cxman dual mikuni carb. How do they run? Easy tunability? How's fitment? Not sure if the 77-78 frames differ from the previous years.
Some installed pics would be great, need to see if the carbs will clear the petcock on the cl450 tank I'm running.
It's...
Making a flat seat pan. Want to be able to put a curve in it to match my rear hoop without much of a fight. Then strong enough to sit two up on it.
Which thickness should I go with?
I know aircraft stripper would work the best, stuff is nasty to work with so last resort. Hand sanding would take forever.
My question is would a brass coated steel crimp wheel on an angle grinder leave deep marks on the tank. Not painting over it so would want to keep it as clean as possible...
