hats off to victorian cafe guys

this is the third inspection place ive been to. the first guy was $110 and gave me a list as long as my arm to work to. granted I did take it in prematurely not fully aware of how stringent the testing could be. but he didnt mention my rear hub was nearly out of service... went through and...

    strange issue with fuse

hey my bike 1984 honda xl350r with the yellow wire from the alternator spliced to pink, keeps blowing a fuse between the battery and a 40a relay which then provides power to the RFID ignition unit. i started out with a 10a, blew that coming to stop. put in a 20a, blew that after some more...

how to recreate this in fibreglass

im not after s astep by step guide to the actually fibreglassing. ive looked that up and am fairly confident in its application. this was more meant to be a brainstorming excerise using the vast experience here in how to actually make a mould for this piece?

how to recreate this in fibreglass

how to recreate this in fibreglass

hey guys. im a bit unhappy with the amount of cables and wiring visible from the handlbar area on my XL so am wanting to make a headlight cowl. I tried with an offcut of my rear fender but it was half arsed and didnt really suit. ive always loved the JVB D-Tracker sr500 so am wanting to...

    victorian law regarding crank breather

the standard setup did include what i assume is a little canister. its not a direct line from vent anyway. yeh or i will just drill a hole in the bottom of the rad hose on one carb and sikaflex it in.

    victorian law regarding crank breather

i think i figured the problem with shoving the vent hose into the pod. its one of the cheap pods that has the internal rubber "ridge" which when attached directly to CV carbs screws with the vacuum ports. well in this instance its blocking my breather by my pushing the hose in and then resting...

foiled by the generic pods...but not how you would expect!

i have read all the bad news on the EMGO pods blocking vacuum ports on carbs and such, but discarded it cause my cheap pods are attached to rad hose then to carbs so wouldnt block anything. fast forward and im having trouble with my temporary oil recirc venting for roadworthy. im using the...
