Thanks @cxman, I've sent frank an enquiry too. You guys are so lucky in the States, spoiled for choice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    run a batttery or not

I run a total loss battery system, and I'd love to learn how people do kinetic systems without a battery. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

How do you get rid of rust in the fork tubes?

$532 + tax. Stripped, and 3 part hard chrome. I can get new tubes made in Italy for $400, 4 week lead time though. I think I'll paint these ones, and get them on the bike, so I can put it all together, while I consider which way to go. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

How do you get rid of rust in the fork tubes?

I have the same problem. The treatments I normally use for light rust haven't worked. Just yesterday I asked a re-plating company for a quote. I'll let you know. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

looking to get into rebuilding motorcycles what tools should I buy?

The one thing I didn't anticipate, and value truly, is Tupperware-sized containers. Heaps of them. I use nappy wipe tubs, about 20, for degreasing parts in groups or assemblies. Invaluable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Hydro-blasting

Similar processes, but not the same. This hydro-blasting is done as a 3-part spray of water, air and silicon spheres. Amazing stuff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Hydro-blasting

Normally I keep all of my progress on my blog, but I'm so amazed with these results I had to share. I had my barrel and head Hydroblasted by Greg at Woodys in Sandringham, and I'm stunned. Before: And after: Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

@teazer - I'm not sure what club my namesake ran it with, I'll ask the uncle next time - it was 25 years ago! I believe it was post-classics, when the rules were a LOT different... I don't know Hoodawreck (Hoondawreck?), just a happy coincidence!

G'day everyone I've inherited my grandfather's CB450K4 Racer, and I'm in the process of restoring it to race condition. I'm scouring these forums for help and advice. I'm trying to document what I can at hoonda.wordpress.com.

    CB450 Rearsets

RE building. My grandfather built it to race post-classic. The rules here are pretty strict with modifications and such, so I'm just bringing it back to how he had it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
