I have the same problem. The treatments I normally use for light rust haven't worked. Just yesterday I asked a re-plating company for a quote. I'll let you know.

The one thing I didn't anticipate, and value truly, is Tupperware-sized containers. Heaps of them. I use nappy wipe tubs, about 20, for degreasing parts in groups or assemblies. Invaluable.

Similar processes, but not the same. This hydro-blasting is done as a 3-part spray of water, air and silicon spheres. Amazing stuff.

Normally I keep all of my progress on my blog, but I'm so amazed with these results I had to share. I had my barrel and head Hydroblasted by Greg at Woodys in Sandringham, and I'm stunned.

@teazer - I'm not sure what club my namesake ran it with, I'll ask the uncle next time - it was 25 years ago! I believe it was post-classics, when the rules were a LOT different...

I've inherited my grandfather's CB450K4 Racer, and I'm in the process of restoring it to race condition. I'm scouring these forums for help and advice. I'm trying to document what I can at hoonda.wordpress.com.
RE building. My grandfather built it to race post-classic. The rules here are pretty strict with modifications and such, so I'm just bringing it back to how he had it.
