Well my DCC retro slim shocks came today and they look amazing. Also took the swing arm down to bare metal and repainted it. Plus my new hardware for the shocks came as well. The swing arm shaft looks pretty sad now with all the other parts being so fresh so I'll probably be tracking down new...
I'm hoping someone has a 74-76 cb200t on here that can measure the length from the bottom of the lower leg to the top of the tube. I know the dia matches my 72 sl125 but the length is 31" and I'm hoping cb200 ones are the same length as cb125 ones. Bonus points if you can also give me the axle...
Got the frame where I'm happy with it finally. Went with semi-gloss this time since I'm making the bike look like it has some age.
Also have started playing with the rear seat pan. Decided to use the original one and just modify it to my liking. Still a work in progress.
Right now I'm...
So I've decided to go all out on this project I have (72 sl125) and I'm in need of the 8x40m bolts for the top of the shocks but the OEM Honda ones don't really do it for me looks wise. I found some on ebay but they come out of china and I'm not to confident on stuff out of there. Is there...

So I'm going to a swap meet this weekend and figured I might keep an eye out for a motor bigger than my 125 if one would just bolt right in, I'm not looking to do any modifying if possible bc I'm fine with the 125 but wouldn't mind the extra power if its easily aquired. My current 125 needs torn...
Been slowly getting the frame down to bare metal and also smoothing out some of the welds, hoping for paint to start this weekend. Also going to a swap meet this Sunday to see what goodies I can find (hopefully exhaust and the collar since mine didn't come with one)
With looking at the diagram, looks like you did a 4 prong reg, was there a reason? I'm noticing there are many different variations of the GY6 reg when it comes to the amount of prongs (I've seen 4,5,6,7)
Looking good, I wouldn't worry about the paint on the motor, it will last... unless brake fluid gets on it (I know from experience). That paint is tough as nails other wise, I did a valve cover on my old bmw and my prep was eh and I'm not too easy on it plus its had oil and grim on it and it has...
