1972 Honda CL350 First Time Build

For the exhaust I decided to go with the 2 into 1 collector and not the muffler.
I will take a pic with it though to show.
I am going to try to make it like the exhaust shown earlier in this thread.
Pics to come this week of the powder coated frame, wheels and new tires.

Wheels and tires came back today.
Black factory powder-coated wheels
New chrome spokes
Silver painted centers
Shinko 100/90/19 front
Shinko 110/90/18 rear

Ok, that makes sense. I didn't see that option but then I'm not completely ready for exhaust yet. Looking at different options for now. Keep it up, looking good!

Looks good! Question on the rims. Were they previously chromed steel or aluminum? If they were chrome, how did you remove the chrome? Sandblast or chemically stripped?

I had the rims professionally sandblasted and powder-coated.
They are the stock Chrome Steel wheels

Stock widths had no issues with the wider tires? Did you consider going wider? FYI; the rear will lace to the front (1.60 to 1.85)and you just have to source a wm3 (2.15) for the rear. That's my plan. I was initially going with wider steel but now going alloy.

I originally planned on 110/90/19 front and 120/90/18 rear but my guy at the shop didn't recommend going that wide on stock width rims.
This was the widest he said I could go safely.

Where is this place in GR? Would love to check it out. Nice work so far, I'm just down the road.
