I ran it around the block to give it a test. The first run is in the rain. The motor needs a few tweaks, but this bike is running. There are still a few little details to hash out (exhaust wrap, a new clutch lever [this one is cracked], tightening up the rear brake, clutch adjustment) , and then we can call it complete-ish.
The coolest thing about this so far (and the whole thing is rad) is that your first ride was in the rain. So glad you're gonna ride the wheels off it! Very very nice.
You'll want that 6th gear in travel mode... I think that is a huge difference between the cb350 and cb360. And the better frame and the better clutch and the better CC's and.... And...
But the choice of the two is great... Plus it's shiny new.
Well, it took all of 24 hours to have the cops called on me. Haha. I guess scooting through the neighborhood and running laps in the back yard with the dogs at 10:30 at night is a bad idea. Time to drink whiskey.
What's the actual width of your rear tire mounted? I'm looking at tires for my XL250 and want to stay as close to the stock 4.00 X 18 as possible. I've got a Shinko 244 3.50 X 18 mounted on my CB350 which is actually a little over 4" wide. Also thinking about the Shinko 241's.
