Ya guys... It needs changed for sure. I found this cool sorta' lime green outdoor paint. May use that. I still want to look for a bit. I have some time. If all goes as planned, Ill paint this weekend. This week is all electrical work, and some minor mechanical issues.
very cool Mike. I love it. I think you should try to put some color on that other tank with the fuel gauge. Use the little holes in back for something special. You know some So Cal/latino bling thingies. Then have my buddy Ethan put lots of pinstrips on her.
What ever you do it will be cool. I'm loving it man!
Im with all of you guys. I really dig the lowrider oaint scheme idea. Especially the mural idea. Sugar skulls are one of my favorite things in the world. Unfortunatly my time/funds may not allow for me to get that done before Troys.
hey man i have a few skull stencils for airbrush/paint if you want to borrow them you are more than welcome to... with a stencil you can use any old air bursh, even the harbor freight one will work. hell if you need it i can even send some black paint with it, all i ask is i get the stencil and any paint you do not use back. i use them pretty often but with summer hear i do not see me using them for a bit. they are new stencils and would be wicked
Thanks Joe... Im actually talking to a local tattoo artist about doing a Mex theme mural over the whole tank. If he cant do it, Ill let you know. Thats really cool of ya.
Well folks... Doug (Beatnic) called today. The front tires mounted and ready to rock. Pickin it up tomorrow. Front forks are rebuilt. Bikes 99% wired. Just need to get the other headlight ears, battery, and a taillight/plate mount and were golden there. Seats done. Swingarm spacer is made and installed. (Again, thanks Doug). Repaint and crazy ass pinstriping job on the tank is underway. New bottom end side cover gaskets this weekend. Going to fab up a rear brake drum stay, and hopefully find a stock rear brake switch (no idea where mine went...) this weekend as well. Long story short, as of this weekend the rattiest 350 in PA should be pissin off the neighbors in no time flat. Huzzah.
The Beaver County Samurai is ready for battle!! HA HA HA HA
