Cool build, I'm in.

Thanks bro.

Just for fun, I went ahead and mocked the new ebay treasure front fender. Fits great. I will blast and paint to match. Also blasting and epoxy black the "Beer rack".

Other than Rachels new home spun seat cover, these will complete the "look" of the "Piglet".

Does it show?

Im really diggin the classic styling of those full size front fenders.

Need to get some front tags made up. Just to push them "over the top".

I like the full original look of the front fenders too.

I'm still looking for a decent one for the 100, along with a headlight, ears (maybe make my own), and speedo.

Other than that, just waiting for energy to rip into mine to change the kicker shaft.

The fenders do look good......along with the bikes....... 8)

Re: Rachels 72, CL100

Thanks dude.

I ran up to the coffee shop early this morning. Hoping to hook up w my buddies and get this fender and rack blasted. They were a couple "no shows". Probably out of town hunting John Deere stuff.

Maybe load up the 100 on the trailer and haul it down to show it to my Uncle John. (original owner) I have no doubt he is ready to see it.

Re: Rachels 72, CL100

That's looking great. Where did you score the beer rack? I have a feeling I'm going to want one as soon as I put my bike on the road.

Re: Rachels 72, CL100

Thanks bud,

Re: Rachels 72, CL100

It came to me free w a crappy motorcycle attached to it. ;)

Re: Rachels 72, CL100

How can you pass up a deal like that?

Did you have to have your seat recovered? I just scanned the thread but didn't come across a mention of it. My cover has a slight tear at the lip on one side, and my seat pan has a crack in it. I'd like to weld the crack and get a new cover but I want to keep it the same style. I really dig those chrome buttons.

Now I know your fibbing. (atleast about my bike, "lookin good") LOL. Ive given her a name though.

My 360 aka "THE PIG" so I've deemed the 100 "THE PIGLET" Been considering this as a small vinyl graphic for the corner of the tank or sidecovers.

I got the new seat cover off ebay. the buttons are actually Stainless tamperproof snake eye screws. Like the ones used in the push button covers inside passenger elevators. I used them just cause they happened to be laying around my garage.

Re: Rachels 72, CL100, the Piglet

Uugh! working on the trailer this morning. I needed some bolts. So fired up the 360 and took off. Parked at the hardware, letting her idle out front to get warmed up. Ran inside got the bolts. Came back out it was rough idling. The O2 sensor reading 19 to 1 on the right hand carb. Gave the A/F mix a turn out. No change. So, gotta strip the carbs off and check for a clog in the Main Primary/Pilot/A/F circuit.

Im taking a nap.

OR, I could close the choke a bit and really rev the shit out of her and see if she can suck the clog out! Ill try that first. ;)

Re: Rachels 72, CL100, the Piglet

Holy cow I cant believe it, revving her up and slowly closing the choke about 3 times. freakin worked. Idling great at 12.5 to 1. ;D Best fix ever!!!

Re: Rachels 72, CL100, the Piglet

Man that 100 looks good with the windscreen and beer rack. I have a rusty rack that came with my scrambler, too. Thinking about cleaning it up and putting it on my "nice" 125 8)

Re: Rachels 72, CL100, the Piglet

Re: Rachels 72, CL100, the Piglet

Thanks trav!

This morning, I tossed the beer rack and fender in the car and caught up w Denny and Dana.

BOOM! Blasted and ready for paint.

11494-040915100348-15222479.jpeg

After blasting. I had Denny open the old tractor shed.

I figure we fix old bikes...maybe someone wants to see what these two rich old farmers do for fun. Actually, Dana's the Farmer, Denny is just an enthusiast w a lot of $ and free time.

60s vintage tractors and plows.

They are funny guys. The amazing part of this is each tractor has its very own 4 bottom plow. The plows are hard to find & super rare. Most farmers just scrapped them when they wore out. They own like 20 fully restored plows...In another barn.

Fall and Spring each tractor is taken out and they drive them around and plow fields. Just for fun. Then washed and WAXED. and put away.

theres 11 of them in this shed. 7 are Dennys, 4 are Dana's and Dana keeps HIS personal faves in another private shed. Heated and Air conditioned.

I asked Denny how many have they fixed and sold. "NONE, WHY THE FUCK WOULD WE SELL THEM?"

LOL. They are just collectors.
