Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - (The Green Meanie isn't quite finished yet!)
You able to get that to work with the MAC exhaust? I looked at my bike trying to do something similar but I can't see anyway whatsoever to make that all fit. The exhaust doesn't leave enough clearance to flip the controls, IMO.

I did get it to work pretty well on the middle hole, I had to reshape (beat) the muffler a bit to clear the pivot arm properly. I would definitely not recommend the Mac 2:1 exhaust for rear set users.

there aren't many aftermarket exhaust (with header pipes) out there. MAC does have a 2 into 2. I don;t think there is any other CB360 specific exhaust available... Universal mufflers on stock headers, but anything else will need to be custom made.

Yea, it's great for clearance for the shifter side, which is where you need the most. To me, Im not completely uncomfortable with unequal foot positions. Shift side is in the lowest hole, brake side is in the middle hole.

Honestly, the best exhaust for rearset clearance would be CL360 headers and whichever mufflers you want to run. That was my initial plan but proved to be a royal PITA to find a nice set of CL pipes.
Well, I hadn't messed with it much... I got out this past week and tore back into it... I gave up on the electronic ignition from Viet... Right cylinder wasn't firing reliably. I switched back to points... Installed new plug wires and caps. And it is firing on both cylinders again. I ran up and down the street a bit on Friday after work and it was running pretty decent. I went to Chicago Saturday night and got home this morning and went out to fire it up and it didn't start right away and got pissed and went to help a buddy build a shed. Digital gauge is acting flakey now too... Gotta investigate that

Well I got out and adjusted the timing again after puttering around town a bit. And messed with the air fuel mixture and she's running respectable. I'm also going to return back to analog gauges this weekend. The digital gauge is misbehaving and I think analog belongs here after looking at it more and more. Gauges should be here Friday... I'll fabricate a bracket to position them how I'd like.
One of the threads for the stator cover screw holes is a bit stripped. Gonna have to pick up a helicoil kit and fix that. It doesn't leak... But I still don't like not being able to torque that one screw down.

Oh... It looks like I am going to have address my clutch too... seems a bit slow to engage quickly if getting on it hard. Plates looked okay when I was in there before. Seems like switching heavier springs is common... are these what most have been using? http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-clutch-parts-ebc-honda-cb-cl-cb350-cl360-cl350-cb360-cb400f-cb750-clutch-spring-kit-csk4.html

Opening both links and comparing pictures, the Bore Tech are probably much stiffer as they have less working coils
We need someone to get some from DCC to measure wire diameter, length and working coils, compare to stock then compare to Boretech
