Nope, flag a SnapOn truck down tomorrow and get the real deal, it's properly calibrated :-[
Dang you were right. Smacked it with the hf special. I'd would cycle every time I hit it, then it buzzed and blew a fuse. Should have used a snap on.

Many of my tools came from hf. About 5 years ago a bought a die grinder from there on sale for $7.99 and used it daily for 2 years at my job. I have NEVER ONCE put a drop of air tool oil in it and it runs to this day. It started as a joke to see how quick it would burn up. Now I'm convinced that if I put oil in it that it will stop werkin'

Air tools are all the tools that I'll buy from there. They're such simple machines. I've had many that have lasted forever.

They commonly carry Norton sanding supplies and I grab that stuff along with CRC line of spray products when they have it. I also have some of the better tools for my travel box.

wow, forever... far out man
I've got a die grinder that's been running for 16 years and most of it's use by college students. So yeah, that's as good as forever. Since when did you get so literal, anyway?

Haha that's what I figgerd. Just seemed like something stinky could be brewing

So I got my kaw H1 heads in the mail from fee bay. There are a few pretty well described threads (here and elsewhere) where people successfully bolted these kaw heads right on a gt250. Well there was one thing in common with all these 250's. They are all the pre-76 ram air heads. Mine is a non ram air engine, and when changing in 76 to the non ram air head, they also changed the bolt spacing on the head studs. So with my head down, I will repost these sweet fins back on feebay.

that would have been nice to use'em,but the stock head is cool too.

Yeah, it would have been a neat mod, but heck, this may keep me closer to the original stock plan =)

Kinda big update. Got the engine back in. Still have to rebuild the carbs, rebuild the fuel petcock, finish wiring, chain, tires, clean up exhaust, run cables, add fluids, clean up the tank, purge oil lines and other little odds and ends, but all in all I'm getting close.
