CB350, homemade.

Exactly what I was thinking after poring over the wiring diagram. Since I'm building mine up from scratch, no jumpering needed. ;)

Well, not too much to update on, but enough to warrant another post! I started tearing down the engine this weekend as the frame is pretty much ready to go to powder, and I was itchin' to get some engine work in.

Fancy new engine stand, mounted on a 12x18 furniture dolly. Dirty engine.

After much sanding, this.

There used to be a big gouge in that cover, but now the only part that shows is at the bottom of the N. The rest was shallow enough it sanded out.

Painted. The color looks much better in person.

So that's about it for now, I have to get the frame sent out this week hopefully for powdercoat, then when I get it back I can start mounting the swingarm, triple tree/forks, and start laying out the electrics. Until then!

Keep up the good work, ill be watching....

Those. Those are gorgeous. Where oh where and how much?

Dang. You shelled out for those! I like em a lot, How'd you come across that website? Browse the italy section of the internet much do you?

How's the engine coming along?

Just found em through random internet searching. I didn't want plain jane ones, nor did I want Durgam_K's that EVERYONE else is getting (no offense to Kris, just wanted a bit more uniqueness. They may be custom, but when 100 people have them...you get my meaning). Wanted some that had a bit of class, and a bit of sport.

Engine hasn't moved much since last weekend, tonight I painted the pass. peg brackets and lower triple so I can mount them once I get the frame back. Only thing I need yet is the swingarm bushings that go in the frame. Need to stop by the local dealer when they're open to see if they can get some in for me.

I have decided to just get stuff done, use the stock tank, get a DCC seat, and get it running before the summer's out. Use next build season to do everything properly. Just too busy with work and other commitments.

You done with yours yet or what??

Left to shell out for this summer:

Hagon shocks
Grips
Levers
Tires (maybe see if those can wait til winter too?)
Ceramic coat exhaust

Just got the call that my frame is done! Why oh why did he have to call so early? I still have a whole day of work yet! :-\
