Cheers mate guess my message aint just floatin round the cosmos haha trying to post more photos etc this aint spanners and sockets you all got to be" peed off "with me trying to string a link together but here goes the 350 is my first major restore /rebuild so ime full of ideas from tons of mags n pics just hope it dont end up OTT got a small workshop /garage two bikes max ya cant swing a cat thats for sure
Looks sweet fella , mine aint no way finished yet just putting back together wot fuel ya use i aint sure whether to use lead addatives or not plenty to choose from over here in UK hope to get it running before the real crappy weather turns up cheers mate
Looks great so far Yorkie, hope you love riding that little 4 as much as I did mine.
I wouldn't sweat the lead additive. Back in '73 the EPA mandated "No Lead" fuel here in the 'states and the automotive industry knew it was coming so began using Hardened seats. You should be fine. Now if I remember right, it did say run on premium, not the cheap low octane.
Here is a pic of mine, gone but not forgotten
hi fellas well yep done some bits n bobs over the xmas break will try put a thread together got a bit sorted with the seat pan will show pics later but its fastened with piano hinge so it opens into a tooltray and small storage space 8). Fitted the rearbrake linkage just gotta tweak a bit to stop kick start catching it agh also just about sorted lights apart from when headlight wired up when i first turn ignition on the horn SOUNDS ?? grounding prob ???well thats a start to my latest bit of tinkering heres a few pics to see what ya think
