Getting a little bit of stuff wrapped up. I finished painting my hubs today, which I should have waited a day before getting to excite to lace them up. The paint looks really good, and even better in person. It should look perfect with British racing green.
And Idk what I am doing wrong, need to do a little more research, but lacing up my wheels, I put the spokes in right? I check them a couple times. But it is still super lose, almost like they are for a 19'' rim. I checked them old ones just in case and they were the exact same size.
I also sandblasted some stuff about two weeks ago. I sand blasted my hubs, mastercylinder, and rockerbox/valve cover. I was a little ''ify'' on keeping the mastercylinder and rockerbox just sandblasted aluminum, but I love the look. Its clean looking and not too flashy. But thats also a problem because now that I am changing things up at last second, my whole color scheme for the engine is kinda off. Now there seems to be too much black. I am just going to wait till I put my exhaust wrap on and velocity stacks(yes I bought some sweet velocity stacks, just realize how long its been since an update). But if those dont do the trick I will take off my points cover and polish it. Kinda pissed at it anyways since I scratched it trying to blow some dust off of it.
And yes I know I am a dumbass, all it took to do it right was to look up here for 2 minutes to find PJs thread about it. A new bearing retainer will be in tomorrow, so no biggy, just lost 12 bucks.....and possibly ruined the threads.
Still havent got this snap ring out, It is a pain in the ass, literally almost had it will the special tool I bought for it. But it was soo rusted in place and the hole snapped so now its be a total pain in the ass. I honestly dont know what to do right now, tried drilling it out but it started to tear up the other stuff, so I stopped that. I broke a set of flat screw drivers(craftsmen) and bent a lot of shop picks.
