Hey Meatball, you will get an answer to this much quicker if asked in the "1800 cafe help" section.

the VHT paint I used was satin low gloss.
I wouldn't use any clear.

Re: CB360 Project: Lucky 7even! (Start up video May 23/10)

Update with video, wiring done, front and rear brakes working, had to rework the brake arm to get around the exhaust, tank cleaned up,
fuel lines routed, just picked up the paint for the seat/tail, started the bondo work, hope to have the seat/tail completed by next weekend.
With everything important checked over, let see if she starts up!
Here's the video.
Thanks for looking!

Thanks
Took her around the block today, idles well, low rpm stumbles, high rpm pulls great.
More tuning is needed, anyone have any tips?
Here's a few pics, I hope to have the seat finished by this weekend, just doing the bondo thing.
thanks for looking.

well dressed as always. Looks sick! Can you make me some of thems LED blinkers? Love how small they are.

Re: CB360 Project: Lucky 7even! (Start up video! May 23/10)

youre so close to being done and im so envious. didnt even see the blinkers. could you put them in the bar ends?

Re: CB360 Project: Lucky 7even! (Start up video! May 23/10)

Yeah Pete, everything's looking killer. I like how you can see the "doh" moment in the video! One of those things that makes you feel stupid for making a small mistake, but makes you SO relieved when you figure out what the problem is!

What's the story for those little turn signals, anyway? They look pretty cool.

Thanks just working on the seat and tail, hope to have painted for the weekend.
Thanks for the idea on the blinkers, I'll look into it.

Really like your quote.
If you arent doing it yourself, is it really yours?

I was so pumped that she started 2min earlier that I could think straight.lol
I seen similar signals on the Oregon CB750, he told me they are just truck marker leds.
so I searched bullet style leds on ebay and came up with these.
Glad you like them.

No problem!

Just applied the last layer of bondo (I hope) on the seat. The plan is to paint it this weekend, if the humidity drops.
The seat was one of the first mods on the bike, it will be nice to see it completed. ;D
Some pics.

Re: CB360 Project: Lucky 7even! (Bondo! May 28/10)

Finally Got some paint on the seat/tail, the color match by a local auto paint store was not able to match the orange 100% so the
color is a little dark out of the sun. not sure if I'm going to try and match the color some where else. anyone no the paint code for
orange or a factory auto color that is close.
thanks some pics.

Re: CB360 Project: Lucky 7even! (Paint! May 29/10)

Pete, That looks GREAT!!! I LOOOVVVEEE that color! Really nice work. I'm at the same stage with my 200. I have the tank and seat painted and decided the frame needed re-done so I stripped the whole thing down again. great anticipation!

FYI - the variaton is absolutely invisible in the pics.

Thanks diesel, just finshed up the decals. and update the pics, its an interesting color in the sun the color is alot lighter.
Good for you on redoing the frame, a fresh painted frame really brings the build to the next level.
Thanks again.
